The Mutsu Crispin Apple is a large, versatile green-to-yellow cultivar developed in Japan in 1949 as a cross between the 'Golden Delicious' and 'Indo' apple varieties.  We find it a very juicy, crisp and firm LARGE apple with a sweet-tart, aromatic flavor.

You can use them for fresh eating, salads, juicing, cider and baking as they hold their shape and texture very well during baking. They also have a long shelf life if you place them in your refrigerator.

Crossings procures our apples from TK Family Farms in Rutherfordton, North Carolina.
